(DmC: Devil May Cry) - Combichrist - 'No Redemption'

VIDEO GAME (DMC: DEVIL MAY CRY)

Part 2 of DmC soundtrack: the industrial metal. It's pretty heavy and great for the hack-and-slash mood of the video game. I'm a fan of heavily distorted guitar triplets. There is a fuller version with lyrics and introduction riiiight HERE.

(DmC: Devil May Cry) - Noisia - 'Devil's Dalliance'

VIDEO GAME (DMC: DEVIL MAY CRY)

DmC's soundtrack is a combination of dubstep and metal. This is a favorite track in the dubstep category. Something about dubstep adds bada**ery to this hack-and-slash video game. But perhaps that's just the stereotype dubstep has on society. "Bada**ery."

The song's mood changes towards the end at 4:02. Good job, Noisia.

Ex Cops - 'White Noise'

ALTERNATIVE POP ROCK

High energy bouncing. Instrumentally, the track adds full instrumental tracks on top of on another. And the fierce vocals will have you pushing for more.

Daggers. Downtown Records. 2013.

ARMS - 'Comfort'

POP ROCK

A popping snare and an acoustic guitar beneath cycling electric guitars. Interesting crystal-like synth sounds near the break.

From EP2 (2013) by Paper Garden Records.

No Disco - 'Unnamed Track' #6

COLD WAVE ELECTRONIC

Gloomy synths with quick tempos. Vocals croon haunting, heartbreaking lyrics. Could be better mixed, but I can see how the current mixing job may fit the overall mood of the song.

"You don't love me. No; not at all. You don't answer when I call. You are hollow when I'm there. I am shallow beyond repair."

BUDDY BANTER - 'INSANE'

I wish I had a time machine..."

From Paradise Thrillz (2013).

Midlake - 'The Old And The Young'

LO-FI ROCK

"...a life made of wallow and pain..." This track rides the bass as its foundation. Layers of echo-y synths surround the well decayed vocals. The track slowly thickens with an acoustic guitar and more synths.

From Antiphon (2013)
